I came here to see if this jacket was available in other colors--I love it that much! Here's why: --Material - the collar, cuffs and body of the jacket feel "elevated" in texture, especially for this price point! --Bell shaped sleeves - my pet peeve is outerwear that prevents me from freely moving ...my arms; these sleeves will allow you to wear a sweater underneath without feeling constricted! --Ability to cinch in the waist - my waist is smaller than my hips, so the ability to cinch in the waist to give the jacket shape is brilliant! I'll be wearing this jacket throughout the Fall, until the cold Chicago winter forces me into something warmer. And please--consider offering this in other colors, such as burgundy, green, etc.
If you're used to more heavy-duty waxed jackets, this will disappoint. It feels more like polished cotton with a light-weight wax finish. I agree with other reviewers, it's very oversized. I got a medium and I'm swimming in it. That said, it IS very comfy. I like the mid-weight - good for shoulder s...eason - and the lining is soft. The bell sleeves make it easy to layer with bulkier sweaters.

I love the unique silhouette of this jacket, created by its material, relaxed fit and wide sleeves. The multiple large pockets are convenient, but it would be even better if they had buttons (so I could safely store my cell phone). Quality control needs improvement. The first shipment was missing a button. Fortunately, I was able to order another one and return the first one.

Jacket fits well, it is oversized so may want to size down one or two sizes. I sized down one size and it still seems very roomy. Does have rather large sleeves, but like the corduroy trim that shows when you roll them up. Also the "wax" effect seems minimal for the price of the jacket. Got it on sale so that seems more of an appropriate price. Would've liked a hood also at this price point.

Oh my goodness! I love this waxed barn jacket. I ordered it in tall and I so appreciate that! The sleeves are long enough and the jacket is longer so I get accurate coverage. It's is so comfortable, waterproof and warm. Just what I needed for the fickle California weather. And if that wasn't enough I get more compliments when I wear it. It has plenty of pockets and it zips and snaps. Yes this was absolutely an excellent buy. I am definitely a fan!!!

I LOVE this jacket! It is very well made! The front zipper and snaps are heavy duty and do up solidly without sticking. As well, the light quilting inside is a surprise bonus for extra warmth! The sleeves look great with the wide width on the cuffs…I wore this jacket at Christmas in -15C with a winter sweater and was quite comfortable! The length is perfect; well below the hips, and the hidden drawstring in the back is adjustable making the fit even more perfect! The soft black corduroy collar and cuffs add a nice bit of class as well. I can't say enough good things about this jacket! I would love to see it come out in a spring Camel/Khaki colour!
