Flattering fit with a bit of stretch. I ordered my regular size Small (smaller chest, 5'7", 140lbs) and its a little loose. The white is a bit too see through. Good value if you get it on sale.

This Modern Boatneck T-Shirt is a really nice top. The fabric feels good quality, and the style is simple but a little more interesting than a regular basic T-shirt. The boatneck neckline may bother some people because bra straps can show, depending on the bra. I ordered the Red & Light Blue Stripe, and the color combination looks interesting and cute. It runs a little large and slightly long. For reference, I'm 5'4", 123 lb, and ordered size XS, but I'm considering exchanging it for XXS or XS Petite.

The long-sleeved Modern Boatneck T-Shirt in that bright red and soft light blue combo from Gap feels like it was designed by someone who actually wanted color to do something. The red is the first surprise — it's not the toned-down, "safe" red you expect from basics. It's bold, a little punchy, and immediately changes the energy of the whole top. Then the light blue comes in as this calming counterbalance, like it's there just to keep the red from taking over completely. The result is oddly balanced for something that sounds loud on paper. The boatneck shape gives it a clean, slightly vintage silhouette, so the colors don't feel chaotic — they feel intentional. It sits nicely at the collarbone, which makes the whole thing look a bit more put-together than a typical tee, even though it's still very easygoing in vibe.
