I ordered the "regular small", Bordeaux Purple (beautiful color), for my daughter who is a size 6 (small) and 5'3" tall. I was on the fence about ordering a petite but I'm so glad I didn't as it would have been too short, the regular small fits her frame so much better as she is an hour glass figu...re. The fit is great, is incredibly flattering and can be dressed up with black pants or a skirt or down with jeans (my personal favorite)! The only exception is that it is a tad big in the chest area and although it has a rubber "stopper" at the top of the vest from sliding down... she has mentioned that she does have to pull up the vest as the night progresses. If I ordered her a petite then I think it may have fit her better in the top but not in the hips where she needed the extra room. If you are more of a straight figure and not an hour glass that might be something to consider. However, it is a lovely top, well made and sturdy, washes well; cool water - dry flat, slight iron for wrinkles. Great investment!

I went down a size based on the description and reviews. What makes it worse is that there are deodorant marks on each end ...of corset and it's a FINAL SALE item!! Gap, I love ya'll with all my heart, but to not allow a customer to return an item that has clearly been 'used' or have 'stains' is unacceptable. I'm ok with the fit being off, that's on me, but the stain is on Gap. This may make me more hesitant to purchase final sale items in the future. So disappointed, I'm actually more sad than mad.

I never ever write a review even if I'm not completely satisfied with an item purchased. But I had to leave a review for this item. First, there is zero stretch to this corset. I went down a size based on the description and reviews. What makes it worse is that there are deodorant marks on each end of corset and it's a FINAL SALE item!! Gap, I love ya'll with all my heart, but to not allow a customer to return an item that has clearly been 'used' or have 'stains' is unacceptable. I'm ok with the fit being off, that's on me, but the stain is on Gap. This may make me more hesitant to purchase final sale items in the future. So disappointed, I'm actually more sad than mad.

I love the top, it fits nicely however I don't like the material, it has 30% wool on it and I can't wear wool. I bought S, I'm 5'2 and 125lbs.

Love this strapless top. It's made of a stretchy suiting fabric, which elevates it. Looks great with jeans or with dress pants and a white shirt.

Smallest size really isn't small enough. Have to get it tailored before ceremony I'm going to, and considering it's off the shoulder it should run smaller so it doesn't fall off of me.

Get the top! It's especially adorable with the matching skirt. It's very stylish and feels like good quality, and it can be styled for fall, winter, spring, or summer. I will say it definitely runs large so get a size down - I am usually a size Small and had to exchange it for a size Extra-Small. Thankfully Gap's returns & exchanges are so easy!
