Originally ordered a size 14. I'm pretty standard between a 12/14 top size. I'm 5'8 and it hits me between the waist and hip and is very flattering! I returned the 14 for a 16 because the torso was too tight. The top band and hip part fit great on the 14, but too snug along the torso, between the chest and waist. The 16 gave me the room I needed in the torso but I will have to get it taken in at the tailors along the top band part. However I absolutely love the look of this top and to me it's worth getting it tailored. I agree with others that said it fits small, specifically in the torso area.

Reviews are a little mixed. For context, I'm 5'9, size M/L, 29" waist, 10/12. I ordered a size 12 tall and felt it was big in the chest and tight in the waist. I feel like I had rolls emphasized in the stomach area. I'm debating on keeping- the quality is great but the fit is weird.

I really wanted this to fit. It's really nice. It would have been a versatile piece, great to wear alone or with a button down shirt. Unfortunately it just didn't fit well. Too big in the bust and a bit tight in the waist. I'm 34C, 29" waist. I went up one size as per the reviews but the fit didn't work so I sent it back

Purchased size 8. I'm 5'3, with a 29" waist. It will be worn over a sheer turtleneck.

Agree with the other reviewers….this runs snug. I'm typically an xs or size 2—5'3 115 lbs, 32DD. Purchased sizes 2 and 4, and definitely the larger size is the way to go. It's super cute once you get the right fit.

Love this! Wore it alone, then over a white oxford shirt. Super cute either way. My regular size fit, but it's cut very snug to sit tight on the body. IIt wears like a light corset.) Stays up fine, it has a no-slip strip along the top to help keep it in place, and enough structure to stay there.

this is absolutely stunning. my typical size did not work. this is a 4 petite and I'm often a 0 or a 2 but my chest is bigger but still.. I just ordered a 6 and an 8 because I don't want to lose the opportunity and it's that cute.
