I bought two of these in 2019, and I loved them so much I've been buying a new ones every year to add to my collection. I first bought them to use as an outer layer on extra sunny days when it's just so hot and bright that you actually want more clothing between you and the sun. The linen is so brea...thable that it works perfectly. I work in a bread bakery in front of a super hot oven, so I started wearing them to work. They are perfect there too! I look somewhat professional while staying cool. The linen wicks away sweat and dries instantaneously, so I avoid those unflattering wet spots. I'm a super clumsy, messy sort of person, and these shirts just do not stain. I once got bright red berry juice on my shirt without immediately rinsing it, and it still came out in the wash. I really love these shirts for pregnancy too. While not being an official maternity item, the fit is loose enough that I was able to fully button my normal size through about 6 months. The length is perfect for throwing on over leggings. They've been wonderful for post partum as well. I just throw it on over my nursing tank and have easy breastfeeding access. Please buy this shirt so that they will keep selling it every year. Lol
This could have been Gap's new Perfect Shirt, if the length wasn't so unnecessarily long!! The fabric is soft, the sleeves are perfect (usually their long sleeve button ups are short on my arms, although I always roll my sleeves up anyway) and these sleeves hit generously below the wrist. The color...s offered are lovely but also they offered the Must Have staple colors of Blue, Black & White. I ordered 1 size smaller based on other reviews and the fit was still generous, comfortable and flattering. WHY did this need to be cut so long like a tunic length. There is no option but, to leave it untucked. It's impossible to tuck in that much fabric. You cannot even use a French Tuck! Please Please Stop Changing the Classic Wardrobe Staples that we Count on from The Gap and Keep those Staples Stocked. Between all 3 stores (ON, TG & BR) I cannot find a classic button up (for over 3-4 years now) that is in stock and/or stays consistent in a cut, length, fabric & color. It's so frustrating!

I love the linen boyfriend shirt-it runs true to size and you can wear it open with a tank underneath or layered and buttoned , with a scarf for warmth. I hang to dry so they don't shrink and they do not need to be ironed! I bought black and turquoise this year, and look forward to getting more colors next season. The boyfriend shirt is a really nice shape, not oversize, not too short, and its flattering. I tried the plaid flannels this fall and they are too short and cut too big and baggy-had to return-the colors were beautiful though-to0 bad-you should stick with the boyfriend silhouette.

I received it in the worst condition, so wrinkled, looked like it was a return purchase and thrown in a ball in a corner somewhere. Because they didn't have another one to send me I have since washed and pressed it. What a disappointment.

The linen feels and looks so nice and still light, but durable. I got the green/blue color in a M because I randomly found it on sale in store and it's cute as an oversized throw-on (true size is an XS). The color is so pretty and just ordered sand to try. I hope it comes back in black!
