I bought these a couple of months ago at my local Gap store and they have been great so far. The dark wash color is perfect, they were comfortable from the first wear, and the size and fit are exactly what I expected. I was happy to see the "Everyday" jeans collection at my local Gap...three color/w...ash options in either Slim or Straight fit. I have been a Gap customer for nearly 40 years and I can't keep up with all the new fits and washes that seem to get more creative (and confusing) with each passing year. The simplicity of this collection is ideal for me. Uncomplicated, well-made basics are what made Gap an iconic American brand and I feel that the store is at its best when it doesn't stray far from that approach.
I bought three pairs of these in August 2023, and one in March 2023 for my husband. By February 2024, one pair (no date on tag so I don't know which) had already developed holes at the corners of the pockets in the back. I patched them, but they just kept ripping. 3 weeks later, they developed a who...le ride on the seam of the front of the crotch in our completely unwearable. It's like the material isn't strong enough to support the seams. This is surprising, as my husband has had many pairs of gap jeans for 10 plus years. He wears them to work in IT, so it's not like he's putting them to the test.

These pants are awesome. Great fit and colour. Denim is great for the Gap which has been getting thinning and cheaper as of the last few years(sorry...)... that said, I did get them on awesome discount.... but they smell like an incredibly damp shipping container. Hope the smell comes out

Funny, Gap does not want to replace that but to have me buy again at a. much higher price. Since this. is the second pair that are failing in less than 6 months, both rear pockets. are failing the top inside and have developed holes. I have 6 or so other pair in the closet but this is the one I have worn the most. Disappointed and will have to go back to Lee or Levis which I never had this issue with, maybe even Wrangler.
