    These pants are very well made and for me - at 5'10", 145 lbs- they look great. I usually take a 28 in women's jeans and the fit of these pants is just slightly loose at the waist. I'm sure a 27 would have been too tight. Just one complaint: there should have been one or two extra buttons included. The button-front is so integral to this style- and the buttons are functional, not just decorative. When one button is lost (pretty inevitably, imo), it will be un-fun finding a replacement. Grrrr, Gap, grrrrrrrr.

    Lusted so bad for these pants

    I kept my eyes out for these pants till someone returned my size, and I was able to purchase. No tag was on them but they were in great condition. My problem with them is the pockets they do not lay flat, and the stitching at the top of the pockets cause an indentation. I am keeping them. However, I will be taking them to my seamstress to discuss options. Yes, they are very long. Yes, they have very big legs, but I wanted that look. Waist is true to size.

    The design is fab but the fit is ugh. If you're petite and shorter, this won't work at all. I was swimming in denim. They reminded me of JNCO jeans but longer!
