FYI I ordered the size 0000 Petite (so weird), and what I received was a 00Regular. That's fine I guess. It fits me perfectly fine. I'm 5'2.5", fluctuate between 105 and 110 pounds. They were suitable for me as a petite. I really like the length... I could even wear them to a business casual environment in the summer with heels and a nice blouse. But they can also be dressed down in that bohemian Doen way. The wash is very versatile for any situation. They're a great buy. Just wanted people to know which size these actually are! In my review I will select that I purchased regular length, but again my order info says I ordered the Petite length—more specifically, 0000Petite. Again, what I actually received was a 00Regular. Equivalent to GAP size 24 waist jeans. Not sure why these were listed so strangely.

I adore the look and fit of these shorts and they get many compliments. The one odd thing is that they started to develop an extremely strong mothball smell right after I got them. (Confusing as I don't have these at home.) I hand washed and machine washed multiple times, then allowed them to air dry. It's mostly gone but not completely. Seems like the material in the waistband was doused in them prior to production. So strange!

I love everything about how these fit, but the only thing that really bugs me about them are little holes in the denim around the front and back of the waistband. It looks as if they were using the edge of the fabric, where it was being held in place using large pins during the production process or something like that. These holes are likely going to keep getting worse over time as I wear them, and I am concerned about the longevity of the shorts due to these flaws.
