I got my usual size but I also carry most of my weight in the lower body. The hips are not tight. It is very low cut up top. This is a well made dress. Nice but the fit is off

I am a size 6 and I read the reviews so I ordered a size 8. The fit on this dress is way off. The chest area is way too tight. It zips but an 8 should not fit like a size small with zero give.

The quality of this dress is not what I would expect from a "studio" piece. In top of that the sizing is incredibly skewed and if you size up for the top half to fit the bottom half is a mess… Just don't waste your money (even if it is on clearance)

Don't Buy- Horrible Straps

My main complaint is that the straps are so flimsy and the fabric slippery and cheap that the bust kept slipping down. The fit isn't flattering, and makes the torso look long and square. The quality just is not there and the dress isn't designed for more than five minutes of wear.

The fit is excellent and very flattering. The adjustable tie shoelace straps allow for a customized fit, and the length hits right at the ankle (I'm 5'9"). I purchased the light pink version and couldn't be happier.

I love the flowy cut of this dress. It's really pretty in person. I am normally a size 6 in most things but a 4 in Gap. It's low cut so quite revealing and the back is very sexy. I ordered my usual size and it fit well on me at 36" bust, 28" waist and 37" hips. I am 5'5" and it touched the floor on me. The one issue with this is the material is polyester so it's not breathable. It would be perfect were it not for that.
