My husband is very happy with the blue jean shorts; however, we had to return twice to get the right waist size. Ordered 42 waist because that is what he'd worn for years. Granted, we did not measure before ordering and he'd lost a little weight. The 42's were 45" when using a tape measure. Downsi...zed to 40, but those measured 43 1/2" with the tape, so we finally ordered 36 and those worked. Just beware that the waist appears to be 3 - 3 1/2 " larger than labeled. Of course, it depends if you like super loose or not.

Got a pair in June and these have been my go-tos all summer. They remind me of the shorts I used to wear in the early '90s. Feels sturdy and soft at the same time. Hits just above the knee. Waist is on the loose side but I still suggest getting your normal size and wearing a belt or sagging.
