Wow wow wow!! I decided to order these pants because they look so nice on the model. After reading some reviews, I thought it would be a hit or miss. I am happy to report they are a total hit!! They fit like a dream and are perfectly slouchy without being too much. The fabric is super soft too.... The drawstring inside of the waste band is the perfect detail to cinch if needed. I immediately ordered a second pair in Black. For reference, I am 5'3", about 135lbs and curvy. I went with the regular in size Small. The length is perfect and I can roll them up if I want a shorter inseam. I typically wear size 29 in Gap denim or size Medium in general. This style does run larger than normal so sizing down was the right thing to do.
First, these pants are gray NOT black. Or maybe it was just the food stained paired I received covered in dog hair. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Ordered a first pair in L because M was sold out. Had them shipped to my UPS store box. Gap primarily uses UPS, so I assume we're good. Gap also uses U...SPS and On-Trac as third party, esp lately. UPS store closes at 7PM. Third party delivers at 8:03PM and leaves outside on Hollywood Blvd. YES, one of the busiest streets in the world. Of course it got feet and was taken. When I had the CS rep pull up tracking and google to verify delivery discrepancy, they STILL wanted me to file a claim with their loss prevention THIRD PARTY vendor! You want me to pay you, then do the work of chasing down my stolen money?! Gave it another try when I saw M back in stock. I knew I was taking a chance they'd be a return. I didn't expect the return pair to be covered in white (hopefully 😬) food chunks and pet dander. So, quality control took a permanent holiday. When I informed CS, they could care less and just asked which email I wanted to return label sent to. I'm 49. I've been shopping Gap I was 13. When I tell you this brand is in the toilet. No wonder they've closed stores en masse. No amount of collabs can save poor quality — in product and customer care. I'm seated for the fire sale.

I love these pants so much I wanted to buy a second pair (unfortunately none in my size left in black). They are not only comfy, and lightweight but very flattering. These are my traveling pants and great to wear on long haul flights. Please bring these back and have more colors! Would love to see them in white, beige, espresso brown, or deep navy!

So comfortable and airy, definitely on the large side, I didn't try a smaller size because I liked how loose they were Feels like sweatpants but more stylish. I would buy another pair if there were more colors (only the beige left, I even considered buying another pair in this color and dyeing it myself)

Love this pant! I've searched for light weight, comfortable clothing for a Vietnam River Cruise I have planned next year, and I think these Barrel Pants will be perfect. I bought a size small. I'm between a 4 and 6 (4 hips, 6 pooch-y belly/waist) and these are great. Hope to loose some belly before the cruise so they will be even more comfortable. #sweepstakes !

They look and fit great they're a bit wider than anticipated but not so much so that I feel clownish. The material is more of a light cotton I was expecting something closer to denim. That was a bit disappointing for the price. I'm 5'4" 175 pounds and Medium fit with plenty of space. I would say to size down because they fit loose and I usually wear a large (could almost get away with small but that may spoil the style).
