    I took a chance purchasing the kids mid rise longline denim shorts for my 12 year old tomboy. She typically just wants clothes from the boys department. She LOVES them! She will wash them as soon as she takes them off so that she can wear them again. Wins are hard to come by these days, so I went ahead and ordered two more pair in blue and a white pair so she could have them anytime she wants. The non-stretch denim structure, the length, the true to size fit, and the quality of Gap denim, are all wins! For reference I purchased a size 16 in all. She is 5'5" tall, 120 lbs., and her natural waist is 29.5"
