I should first note that I am 6.5 months pregnant and I bought this shirt in the hopes that it would not only comfortably cover my bump, but also be long enough that I'm not constantly tugging my shirt down over my belly (IYKYK). That being said, I'm so glad I bought this because this is a great eve...ryday staple for me both now and postpartum. I already had a large bust pre-pregnancy, and I typically wear an XL but based on the reviews, I went with my normal size (XL) and its perfectly oversized (for me) with no straining buttons in the chest area (again, IYKYK). I originally ordered in two colors and now that I've tried on at home, I'm ordering a few more. Highly recommend!
Bought this shirt last year in black and white and I wear them all the time, they are closet staples for me. I would give this item 5 stars for last year's version. I typically wear M Petite (L Petite for some styles that are more fitted or have little stretch) but S Petite in this shirt is still pe...rfectly oversized for me, so definitely size down. I'm around 5'1 and 140 lbs. I'm only giving this item 3 stars because this years striped styles have a different fit than last year and are unflattering on me. I was a bit disappointed when I received the blue and white stripe version and have it fit much differently on me - the cuffs are longer so folding the sleeves up doesn't look as nice, the collar is larger and sits higher than before so it looks more like a men's dress shirt as it looks like there's enough space to fit a tie under the collar, and the hem of the shirt is longer than before, which is particularly unflattering on my petite height. The overall fit makes the collar area more like a men's dress shirt as less of a shirt that can be styled down. Long review but tldr; new striped styles do not fit the same as previous years' black and white variants! Please bring back the old fit!

This is my favourite shirt and is the second one I have purchased! I wore my first to death so I was so happy to be able to get a second one. The fabric is amazing, washes up fantastic. It is so versatile. I have worn it as beach cover, with jeans/shorts and a tee and over t-shirt dresses! It is a must have piece for travelling!

gapcanada.ca/I've been buying these since I came out, they changed the design. The cuff and the collar. I much prefer the old style. The collar in this one is too big to pop. And doesn't look as good with the sleeves rolled out. I was excited to see the navy, but in person it didn't look great, return.

I'm so disappointed in the design changes to the big shirt. This has always been a staple in my wardrobe. The shirts I just received have massive cuffs and collars, notably different than older shirts. I feel like a waiter from the 70s. Please bring back the old design!

I'm usually an L in gap shirts but in the brown and blue "big shirt" style I needed a small to get that oversized look without too much body fabric. Easy and effortless! I like that this style has buttons above the wrist towards the elbow, seems to hold up a fold better and firm around the arm.

I purchased a Petite XS - it doesn't come any smaller. It still swallowed me!! I am short - 4'!!", but still! If even the smallest size is so much too big it's made too beg. The color was great and the feel of the fabric was soft and luxurious which is why I gave it 2 stars. I wanted this shirt to fit!
