Ran into Gap with an emergency and needed a pair of black jeans. Funds were tight and I was frantic in the store and an employee helped me, we went straight to the sale rack. I didn't have high hopes but she made it happen for me. I didn't think the jeans would fit me good since I am short. But the... moment I tried them on they were perfect. The fit, the length, the high waist and a dark solid black. The price fit just in my budget. I was so grateful for her and so happy she found those cheeky jeans. I plan on buying more in different colors.
These jeans have mixed reviews and I was very confused on what size to order. For reference I'm 5"6, 147lbs., 27 1/2 waistline. On the slim fit I usually order a 6 (28) R. Since a lot of the reviews stated the jeans sun small I went for a 30R. I was looking for a loose fit jeans so I didn't mind if ...they were a little big on me. When I first tried it on I was please although there was a gap on my waisttline. Jeans are really a straight fit, not too wide or skinny. After wearing them a whole day, boy these jeans stretched out! After one wear they went up a size and now is really loose around my waist. I think a 29 would've been better. Fabric on the black one is light and stretchy unlike the darker blue wash. I noticed the sizes varied depending on the color.

I'm 5'4/118 pounds and a petite build. I initially ordered a size 26 petite same as my 98% cotton Gap jeans. These run a size big in my opinion. I returned and got a size 25 and they fit perfect.

These are a beautiful solid black wash, but they run really big. I'm usually a 28, but my other two pairs of Cheeky Straights are 29 with some extra room, so I ordered a 29 in these as well and they were HUGE. Just sagging on me. Usually black denim runs small, so it was unexpected. Going to try a 27. I'm 5'6", 128.

The only pair of jeans that I feel actually work for my body! I have struggled to find cute black jeans and these were perfect. 10/10 recommended. I am 5'4 155lbs and bought the petite size 8 and they fit perfect. They fit great and make me feel confident . I have a short torso as well and these don't make me look so short .
