Very disappointed in this purchase, the website states that these nursing shirts are cotton but when they arrived the tag says they are made of 95% rayon/viscose instead of cotton. The only reason I purchased these (both the blue and black) is because I prefer cotton for nursing as it breathes better and washed better, making it easier to deal with post partum hot flashes. It's so hard to find cotton options for nursing mothers, and that the gap website has false information listed for these shirts is very aggravating. I can't drive yet (c-section) so returning these is going to be an added burden.

You have to pull down the top of the inside part, not at all functional. I attempted to nurse while wearing this and there is just no way to get a baby's head in there and comfy. There's no central hole, no clasp; its basically like trying to nurse in a standard t-shirt with a low collar. Oh and have the overlying fabric be so tight that your baby can't even move his/her head. My baby is average head size for an 11 week old infant and it ended terribly. I had to basically take the shirt off in public and nurse. Thankfully I had a nursing tank top underneath it. I'm returning.
