    I have a bigger waist and smaller hips/thighs. I purchased a Tall XL and usually wear 16/18 (34 in gap jeans). I'm 5'6" but mature and chubby, so I do not want short shorts. I can see how these would not be a favorite for people who need more room in the thighs, but for my Apple-shape they worked. I...

    Not flattering for fuller thighs.

    I'm a pretty consistent size 4 at gap and while the size small shorts were roomie in the waist I found the snugger fit in the hips and thighs unflattering. The fabric also while soft is kinda thick for a summer short.

    These shorts are so comfy and cute! I love that they contour to my hips and waist but aren't tight around my thighs! Only regret is I didn't buy two pairs when they were 40% off. I typically wear a size 14 and bought a large.

    I really wanted to love these shorts as they are so comfortable and great quality. However, the oversized fit didn't work and even after sizing down it was tight and loose in all the wrong places. I'd recommend you try but be wary of fit/size for it to look right. For the right body type though, they'd be amazing.
