I've been buying gap underwear for my son since he was potty trained, these are his favorite. They don't stretch out too easily, they only wash out after a lot of use and maybe more than a year +. But most important they are soft, he never complained about the leg bands or waist band.

Not the same
I've been purchasing this style of underwear from Gap for about 7 years. While more expensive than the big-box offerings, the durability and quality could not be beat.
I'm sad to say the most recent version of these are lacking in durability and the quality is not what it used to be.
The cotton fe...els thinner and less substantial and the elastic started unraveling on two of the five pairs of underwear in less than a month.
These are not holding up nearly as well as prior pairs.

Unless seriously discounted, I would no longer recommend purchasing them.
