When I was shopping at Gap 30 plus years ago for my two young daughters, never did I dream I would one day shop there for three grandsons. My daughters liked the soft, cotton clothes from Gap. It made sense, children are very tactile. With 3 boys (8, 5 and 2) to get birthday and Christmas presents for, I am back in the Children's department at Gap for comfortable but sturdy shorts and shirts. Young boys love shorts. They would wear them all year long if they could. But all the Gap children's clothes - shirts, shorts and pants - withstand the multiple washings and hard play of our 3 grandsons.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
