We purchased these for my husband after reading a positive Wirecutter review. He is recovering from abdominal surgery. The first pair we purchased at the store so he could try them on. We were surprised the XS worked best (he has very slim hips and legs (5'8" about 135 lbs). They still fit well after washing, so we purchased additional pairs online. They are marvelously soft and comfy--and warm too! We are grateful for nice looking (not too baggy) and comfortable pants that are easing his recovery process just a bit.
