Waistline is completely different from model images and item description. It's not a fit + flare style, but an empire waist. Sizing is also quite large and the cut is shapeless.

What a strange dress this is! It is has an under layer, which is good because it is white, but is also has about 10 feet of extra material that billows it out, making it look like you are wearing a duvet or, as my husband commented, that parachute you played with in elementary school gym class! I have no idea what the designers had in mind here. It's unfortunate because the pattern is nice. I bought a size small, and I could probably fit about 4 bodies into the skirt.
