    This dress had so much potential but I do not recommend it for shorter people. I bought a M and the top was just filled with excess fabric. The sides of the fabric would scrunch together and look weird at the top. I will be returning unfortunately.

    I'm 5'11 and purchased a medium tall. Straps are so short, even let out all the way that I can barely wear them- they pull the bodice up under my arm pits. They also attach weird and cause top to roll- you can see the seems and they look cheap. Dress is ok as a strapless dress and fits well otherwise. Was glad to see a tall option, although it still hits mid calf, so more midi than maxi. At least the bodice is long enough.

I ended up sizing down to a medium petite and the fit is exactly what I was hoping for! So maybe size down in this.

    I tried on a similar dress by the Gap past year and regretted not buying it, so I was hoping this would be similar. However, the upper body fabric lacks structure and isn't flattering on — it bunched in weird places and looked kind of weird. Returned it.
