Perfect bridal dress - or any occasion
I love this dress! I needed something for my bachelorette/rehearsal dinner and this will be perfect. So flattering. I will say the sizing is different than previous gap purchases. I ordered a black strapless dress last season in a large petite and the fit is perfect. I ordered this dress in a large ...petite and it was very loose. I ended up sizing down to a medium petite and the fit is exactly what I was hoping for! So maybe size down in this.

Not great quality
I'm 5'11 and purchased a medium tall. Straps are so short, even let out all the way that I can barely wear them- they pull the bodice up under my arm pits. They also attach weird and cause top to roll- you can see the seems and they look cheap. Dress is ok as a strapless dress and fits well otherwis...e. Was glad to see a tall option, although it still hits mid calf, so more midi than maxi. At least the bodice is long enough.

I was drawn to this for the shape and color and they both deliver what I wanted. The slight dip in the front of the waistband is kind of a trend right now, but I feel it will look dated in just a few years. I normally wouldn't buy anything with removable straps as I'm paranoid about them falling off and I would never wear this as a tube dress, but it is what it is. The material is nice and thick on the top and lighter and breezy on the bottom without being see-through thin.. Pockets are great, length is full to my ankles as a 5'2" shorty.
