Why did this have to be cropped?

I would've bought this in black and blue and worn them until they disintegrated but even the tall size is much too cropped. Like wide legged pants, cropped shirts are not for all of us. Exactly what I expected! It's so soft, after washing it does not wrinkle. The length is perfect, hits right at the waist. My only regret is the yellow is out of my size so I couldn't have both.
