I have been searching for a jacket with pockets that would handle the insufferable Texas heat and humidity. There is one on Buck Mason's website that I was going to purchse, but the price had me stalling. Then I saw this. It was close to what appeared on Buck Mason's site, but at a much more affo...rdable price. I hesitated as I have purhased linen jackets at the Gap that looked just like this one. They were on the heavier side and itchy side. I purchased this based on the reviews thinking, Gap has a great return process. Did not expect this. When I tried it on, HOLY MOLY. My search is over. This is light. Hold it up to the light. You can see it is breathable. Unlined. Two patch pockets on the outside. One interior hip pocket with goo enough depth for the large phones. It is on the bigger side, so I sized down one size. Perfect. I washed/machine dried it to make it a bit softer and it shrank just a little. Even better. I had to buy the other color. This is a casual blazer. You can wear it with t-shirts, or to work with a linen or poplin shirt underneath. Very comfortable. Gap, you did it. Thank you
This has so many great things going for it -- the overall cut, fit, fabric, and color. Great for a spring/summer layer. The main problem is that the lapels are SUPER WIDE. Like... 1970s leisure suit wide. Hilariously wide. I'll be sending it back.

Runs a little big, especially in arm length. But good enough for price. May decide to get tailored though.

The fabric blend is perfection—breathable enough for warm weather but substantial enough to look polished and professional. The relaxed fit is exactly what I was looking for. It drapes beautifully without feeling boxy or oversized, and I love how effortlessly it elevates even the most casual outfit. I've worn it over a simple white tee with jeans for weekend brunches and paired it with dress pants for work presentations. It's incredibly versatile. The linen-cotton blend resists wrinkles better than pure linen (thank goodness!), though it still has that natural, slightly lived-in texture that makes it look expensive rather than stuffy. The construction quality is excellent—reinforced seams, quality buttons, and a lining that helps it maintain its shape. My only tiny critique is that it runs slightly large, so if you're between sizes, I'd recommend sizing down. But honestly, the relaxed fit works perfectly as-is. This blazer feels like winning a #sweepstakes—you expect something good, but what you get exceeds all expectations. It's become my go-to piece for looking put-together without trying too hard. Highly recommend!

Pretty timeless unconstructed cotton jacket. As with that style, very loose and boxy but should age well for a classic wardrobe piece.
