This is the only short in XXL from Old Navy and Gap that fits our teen for school and sport. Other kid shorts in XXL and adult XS are too big/loose. We had to try/order many this season. And this has the perfect length (why are kids and women athletic shorts always too short?), not too long for spor...ts. It doesn't ride up. It has a zipper pocket to store things safely. It is light enough for hot weather, but robust enough for rough sport/playing. Only wished it would be available in more neutral teen colors, like navy, dark blue, dark green, grey, maybe a wave pattern, etc.

Bought these in multiple sizes as they are great shorts! They are a nice (draw-string) substitute for soccer shorts that are always too big for mine. The draw string is excellent and the zipper pocket on the back is cute. These shorts also dress up very nicely and the fabric doesn't wrinkle or fade with washing. Recommended!
