I was drawn to these shorts because of the model pics. I ended up sizing up 2 sizes from my true size which is a 2/26. I am 5'6" and 118lbs. I purchased these in a 6/28 and they give me the exact same look as the model. They are baggy and sit low on my hips. These are probably the most comforta...ble pair of shorts I have ever owned. They are rigid (no stretch), yet thin and soft. Perfect. Stick to your true size if you want them fitted, size up 1 to 2 if you want them baggy and to fit like the model.
Based on all other clothing purchases made for several years by gap, ordered the 28 in off white. Cannot fasten waistband, too small. Need 1-2 sizes larger. Only size left currently for an exchange, is size 29, which may or may not fit. Gap has now made them Final Sale, which I refuse to purchase. N...o way am I getting stuck with an item that may not fit. Fix your inconsistent sizing Gap, or lose more sales. I refuse to purchase from anywhere online doing Final Sale; it's used to hide & offload defective, poorly sized, poor quality items, at our expense!

I unfortunately bought the wrong size, so can't really judge this item for sure, but it seemed comfortable and the length was good. I'm not a fan of the frays though. I'd prefer a model without them. #sweepstakes

Usually an XL is a 16 but in this case the XL I ordered feel big but these feel small.

I have thicker thighs so these didn't fit baggy like the photo but honestly they are a great length and very comfy. #sweepstakes

Size up two or three sizes since there isn't any stretch but they're comfy and I'm glad they're a decent length.
