As someone with an athletic body shape -- broad shoulders, wider rib cage and no hips -- skater-style dresses are my ride or die, especially when there is no seam at the waist. It gives a more fluid outline to the body, and the skirt on this dress flares out beautifully. I nabbed the tomato red when... it was on sale, loved it so much that I grabbed it in the green stripe as well as the denim version. They will be in heavy rotation this summer.
The only bone I have to pick is with the linen-blend ones -- there is some weird puckering going on at the bottom of each of the straps on the front, right above the chest. It's not as noticeable with the red version but with the stripes, it's very noticeable due to the design. I assume this is not a defect in the garment but rather in the design. That's honestly what's stopping me from buying any more colorways.

Not true petite
The floral pattern and material were pretty. However, the size I ordered - my usual, petite medium - was much too big and not petite at all, except for maybe the length. The straps were insanely long; the neckline fell nearly under my bust; and the armholes and bust width gaped by several inches. Ev...en if the measurements had been more true to size, the proportions were not petite in any way. Has Gap stopped doing actual petite sizing (shortening/tailoring proportionally, not just the length)?
Everyone should have this dress! It's perfect to dress with jewelry up or down with a cardigan and tennis shoes!

Material is nice, but the size runs like 2-3 sizes bigger. I got XS petite, my waist is 24in and the dress fit around a 35in waist. Also, there is a seam right in the middle of the bust which I didn't notice from the picture. So even if it fit right, I'd still return it because of that.

100% size down with this. Im 165cm tall and 62kg and the Small was too big. So I got XS. It is super flattering, don't really need a bra with it because it's thick and supportive. It gived me a lifted effect and also not too revealing. I got it in 2 colors when it was on sale. #sweepstakes
