Love these, super soft and good denim feel. Perfect length IMO. But the sizing is way off. I a 27/4 in GAP jeans and shorts have been forever. Ordered these in light and dark in my normal size, both were huge. Went to order in a smaller size and the light were sold out. Got the dark color in a... 26/2 they fit perfect. If I would have known I would have ordered the light right away. For reference 130 lb, 5'2.5" and the 26/2 fit perfect.
My hips are 37 inches and I usually wear a size 4 or 6 from the Gap depending on how the legs fit, since I have muscular legs. I ordered a 4 in these and they are ENORMOUS - I'm not sure going down one size is even enough. What's far more frustrating is that no local stores are carrying shorts yet a...nd they are refusing to do an exchange for a different size. I have to physically return the shorts and then call to reorder at the same price, a bizarrely cumbersome process. I actually love the overall look so I'm going to try and find the right size, but the vanity sizing is getting out of hand.

The leg opening on these shorts is much too wide. If you want that area of your body to look wider then you're all set. Otherwise not so much. Also one of the pairs I received one inseam was longer than the other one.

Sized down 2 sizes per the reviews and so glad I did. They fit perfectly and are soo soft. I do recommend sewing a seam where the hem is to stop the fringe from running and do wish it was just a raw hem instead of all fringed but that's an easy fix. Other than the sizing these are perfect. I will say in petite sizing I would only go down 1 size. I'm 4'11 120 lbs and the 25 regular fit me better than the 26 petite, the petite size really rode up in the back for me.
