Been waiting a long time for a bright red button down!
Based on reviews I ordered a small in a tall instead of my usual medium. I have a long torso and I'm 5'7 so the tall was perfect and I didn't find it boxy at all. Not sure if it would have been boxy in a regular length. The medium would've been too large on me. The small is still appropriately relax...ed. The red is absolutely stunning! I plan to wear it with white jeans and shorts. I'm considering buying the high waisted matching shorts. For reference, I am 5'7 and 148lbs, 36DD, hourglass figure with long torso.

I've been looking for a dark brown button up which has been surprisingly difficult. I find this brown is odd. At first glance it's dark brown, but it has a plum tint to it. More so in daylight. I also wish they had used buttons of the same color to blend in. The stark white buttons on the dark ...brown makes the piece feel less elevated. Many people also said it was definitely oversized so I went a size smaller and I wish I hadn't. I'll be returning for the plumpish brown color and the white buttons. However, the linen itself and cut I did like. Hope that helps!
I like the shift. Sleeves are dropped (if you like that) and it is very cool. Irons up in a minute.

Generally a good quality, loose shirt. I would prefer the shoulder seams weren't partway down my arm but I believe that's just the style of this shirt. Fairly lightweight/thin linen compared to some others I own. I generally take a small or medium and I kept the small in this shirt; it still fits quite oversized. Size down unless you want a really oversized shirt.

Gap's linen shirts are so hard to resist! This year, I bought the white one with thin black stripes as a new addition to my Gap summer linen shirt collection. It's gorgeous. The quality of the fabric is excellent, and the white with thin black stripes version is definitely unique. Instead of its usual classic fit, Gap has made this year's linen shirts quite oversized, and so I followed the Gap's online recommendation to size down. The size XS was sold out so I tried XXS and it's a tailored fit, although I think XS would have been better.
