Ordered a size up based off the reviews and the dress fits large. Usually alternate between a small and medium (34 inch bust, 28 waist, 38 hips). The chest is extremely loose. However, it's cute and comfortable.

But even in the petite sizing, it fits really large on top -- I don't know if I have a "short" chest or whatever, but the dress is far too long for me in the chest and is also quite roomy in the chest ...

I've been searching quite sometime for petite summer dresses and I think I finally found the Gap to be the store. This was the first of 6 dresses to arrive and it fits so well and is very pretty on. The others are super lightweight and you couldn't beat the sale price on all of them.

I'm not sure yet if I would shell out extra money for alterations or just deal with it.
