    drawstring waist is funky on this

    Ordered 3 skirts all going back. Very straight cut makes it lay strange on body if you have any hips or shape. Also these skirts should be longer for a tall length.

    Surprised to be keeping this skirt ! I haven't shopped gap in prob.. 20+ yrs ~ I often spend way too much on designer items these days & the quality of others hasn't matched up ~ since I'm trying to be better with money & seen some very cute clothes on others i decided to try this store again & i'm glad I did ~ I can honestly say ' I like the skirt '! As others have mentioned, the waistband is not very nice , it's definitely not flattering if you have any type of pooch or not bone thin where it can just hang nicely ~ I'd like it much better with a waist , because it's hard to keep it in place without one :-/ I am typically a size 4 w/27 waist @ 5'1" @ 128# and short waisted ~ I ordered a medium , I could of got the small ~however , I kinda like it not so tight all the way through ~ it hits me above my ankles so that's perfect for how I wanted it . The material is nice and light but with a bit of structure , i purchased the white and it isn't see through . I will pair it with an open weave slouchy sweater and slides for a cute outfit for a lunch date or evening dinner outdoors . I can't see it ever becoming dressier for my personal taste . Most will probably like this skirt and it's definitely worth a try .
