Should have listened to the reviews and sized down. I got a L tall (my regular size at gap) and it is about 2 inches too big in the waist. I should have exchanged but it is always sold out so I decided to try to shrink it a little bit in the drier (bad idea) it only shrunk in length and the waist is still too big. So don't be like me, size down and do not put in the drier. Other than that, the fabric quality is good. I do wish the shorts were a tad bit shorter because the poke out the bottom of the skirt just a little. #sweepstakes

I love this skort. I bought the black one and it became an instant staple. I'm around a size 8, and the medium sits a little below my belly button. It's definitely short and flirty, but the loose shorts underneath make it pretty comfortable to wear. I liked it so much that I ordered the red and the flax color, and the sizing isn't quite the same as the black one. The flax one is mid (almost low) rise and longer on me because the waist is larger despite them both being M. The red is about the same as the black, maybe a tiny bit smaller in the waist. They all fit and look cute, they just all fit differently. If you have a small waist and shorter legs and prefer a snug look, you could probably get away with sizing down.
