I was at an out of town northeast fall wedding and had forgotten to pack enough t-shirts. And an unexpected cold snap sent me to the Gap store to find a few extra things I needed. I grabbed a pack of the v-neck t-shirts to get me through the weekend and, to my surprise, fell in love with them! For t...he last ten years I have been wearing a different brand of v-neck t-shirts, but I really loved the fit and the stretch of these crisp white t-shirts and now they are my favorite!
These used to be better, at least for me. The fit was perfect and now they run really big. A medium is more like a large. very disappointed as the fit and quality was always excellent.

These t-shirts fit snug. I purchased other v-neck t-shirts from gap ("standard fit") which fit perfectly. I ordered these thinking it would be the same ("classic" and "standard" being so similar in meaning). These t-shirts should be titled "Fitted V-Neck T-Shirts", and the standard fit made available again. I was also disappointed with the poor quality of the cotton. The other v-neck t-shirts were made of sturdier cotton. The cotton in these is very light-weight and flimsy and likely to degrade quickly. On the whole, very disappointed with the decline in quality from Gap.
