I've tested countless heavy weight shirts from Merz B Schwanen to Buck Mason and this is hands down my favorite shirt. I used to own a black Gap V-Neck for years. I'm pretty sure I stretched out the collar from my own doing, but these shirts are perfect. I'm so glad they brought in the true black be...cause I bought it immediately. I own them in the basic essential colors (grey, white and black). Keep making cropped shirts Gap they fit the proportions of everyone's natural waist. It's a perfect heavy weight T-Shirt.
Bough this for my husband and it is very cropped. We bought his true size large and thought it would fit like the model, but it was extremely cropped and so we will be returning it. The material is super nice and I think they have a regular length with the same material and boxy fit so we might look... into that.

I found this shirt to be extremely comfortable and durable. I usually wear a small but got the an extra small. The smaller size fits well for my build. Classic silhouette with loose or baggy jeans.

The neckline is weird, I don't understand why there's one harsh seam connecting the neckband together. Usually this is done more subtle on t-shirts. I bought two of these shirts in white, one of the neck bands looks terrible honestly, the other one is passable. I would never buy these full price given how the neckband seam looks. The overall shape of the shirt is nice, hopefully it washes well.
