My daughter (7yo) and I absolutely LOVE that this is an actual skirt, not a skort. And they are not easy to find. In winter, my daughter can layer heavy tights or leggings under this skirt, which she can't do with a skort- at least not comfortably. And in warm weather we add separate cotton shorts. ...

No Adjustable Waist/No built in shorts

Let down by these skirts. No built in shorts, no adjustable waist. Yikes! I bought my daughter the size we bought in other Gap clothing with no issues. The waist is too big (but fit for length) and there's no adjustable waist or belt loops! Gap needs to get with the program especially with a price p...oint so much higher than other stores!

I was happy to find a uniform skirt that wasn't a skort. But loose threads after first wash. Zipper is very hard to use. We have an older pair and the zipper won't go up all the way anymore.
