I'm an average-height adult, but because of my slim, narrow-hipped build, I usually fit better in kids' pants than women's. Definitely true here, the women's XXS was just too big in every dimension—and without a drawstring, I was afraid they'd fall off if I put anything in my pockets. The kid vers...ion has a drawstring, looks more like jeans, and is a perfect length, so that's what I'll be keeping. Definitely recommend!
They really are juts sweatpants with pockets stitched on to make them look like jeans. They're fine. And my son will wear them (and he won't wear jeans), but they will be as long wearing as a pair of light sweatpants. I would t buy full price.

These look so cool, even have the little metal rivets like jeans. My son tends to wear comfy/sweat pants to everything, so these are perfect for him. The material is good quality, I'm hopeful these last as long as other Gap pants I've bought in the past.

My son lives in these! Made from sweatpants material but a nice finish and cut like jeans with jean stitching and details (5 pockets :) . Kind of perfect, loose baggy but with a good shape. Had to order a size down but my son is average/tallish height but on the thin side and can usually fit an age down I pants. He's 9 and the small fits him perfectly
