Gosh, I just really like Gap jeans. I find myself always being happy with my Gap jeans, and these High Rise Cheeky Straight jeans are no exception--I love the fit! I guess I didn't read the description for these jeans because when I opened the package, I realized they were button-fly. In the past, m...e and button-fly anything were never a good team. I decided to keep them despite not having a beloved zipper. I am currently wearing these jeans after washing and drying. They're ankle length, or floods--whatever suits your vocab. The dark wash is what I've been searching for. I am a size 12/31 in Gap jeans; however, after reading reviews for these jeans, I sized up to a 32 regular length. They don't fit snug on me anywhere; as a matter of fact, they fit a little loose in the legs and hang on my waist without any pinching--but that is how I prefer my jeans to fit--not a skinny jeans gal. If I wanted these to fit like how they fit on the ad model, I probably would have sized down to either a 31, maybe a 30.
Shopping for jeans on this website is CRAZY making! The size charts are useless. It's impossible to figure out the difference from one jean to the next. First - these are NOT STRAIGHT cut. They are tapered at the ankle. The actual measurements are as follows: 29 Tall = 30" inseam, 11" rise (meas...ured from the crotch), 30" waist 29 Long = 29" inseam, 11" rise, 30" waist 28 Long = 28" inseam, 10 3/4" rise, 29" waist If the 29 actually had a 29" waist, there wouldn't be a gap on me as I actually have a 29" waist. The color is boring and conservative but it's one of the few options that doesn't have all the stupid fake fading, factory made holes or frayed hems - all of which I cannot stand. They have a button fly, are medium weight with a little bit of stretch - these things plus the 11" rise are good. However, the cut of the leg is unflattering - they widen thighs and shorten the look of legs, despite having a higher rise. Why this company cant be of better help with sizing and information on their own products is beyond me. Obviously, I am returning these.

Sadly, it's a final sale, no returns or even exchange's and probably a reason for that because these run really small! Now I need to see how to offload these jeans but I'll probably donate them. So sad because these looked promising.

The fit is nice, the denim is very soft and stretchy...but way too short for me personally :) . I checked the models height before purchasing and sadly they still fit a solid 2 inches above my ankles.

Really like how these jeans are loose in the legs and ankles but not overly wide, and how the style hugs the butt. Fabric is a little hefty the way jeans used to be made. Order one size up.
