These are backordered now for a good reason - they are the perfect spring/summer jean, and we're all ready for that after this long pandemic year! They are a great wash for spring - lighter and not too much distressing - just a little on the pockets. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is becau...se while they are comfy, they do stretch out - even with only like 1% stretch - and I think I probably could have done down a size, though maybe not considering my measurements. I am 5'3" about 130 with a real curvy rear (maybe 37" hip) and a small waist (maybe 26") and I purchased the 27 because that's what was recommended for me. If you have a small waist relative to your hips and rear, you may find these jeans gap at the back after wearing them around for a while. They had only the regular length and they were fine on me - I rolled them up once and they're cute.
Ugh! This is a major fashion industry problem: inaccurate sizing. I entered my exact measurements, and the website gave me a recommended size. I checked my measurements against the size guide just to be sure, and ordered a medium. These jeans are HUGE. They fit like they are two sizes too big! Howev...er, I know from past experience with Gap sizing that if I return them for two sizes smaller, they won't even fit over my thighs. So, I ordered another pair one size smaller and will see how they fit. I will be returning the size medium pair the Gap sizing experts (bots, of course) recommended since they are, no exaggeration, two whole sizes too big. Yes, I know the style is a looser fit, but these jeans in what the Gap considers my size for this particular item literally fell off of me. They were ridiculously huge. I would bet my next paycheck that a small would be ridiculously small so that neither a medium nor a small fit properly. They were also ridiculously long for a regular size. Even if they fit properly otherwise, they would have been clownishly long for the style.

I am usually a 6 in jeans…occasionally a 4. I ordered the 27 (4) in these jeans and I could have sized down 1 more. They stretch out a lot and become baggy in the waist. I know these aren't mean to be super fitted but I would have hoped that I still wouldn't have to pull them up. I washed them in hot water and they did seem to shrink a little. I'm going to keep them because I think they are really comfortable and decently flattering to my mom bod.

Love these jeans. they really feel like a pair of cozy boyfriend jeans. Not overly high waisted or overly baggy. Just a comfortable loose fit. Be sure not to upsize though because they seem to run a tad big.

I have three pairs of girlfriend jeans. All tall, 30 T. The last 2 pair are JUST barely a 30inch inseam. This is a deal breaker for me. I'm 5'10. So these are 4" above my ankles and look stupid. Get it together GAP.
