I'm 60 years old and was having trouble finding white jeans that looked good on me. I also tried on two different white/cream colored jeans from Old Navy, and one from Levi's, and these from the Gap fit the best. They are 99% cotton in the White Wash color. In the color White Wash (I don't know abo...ut the other colors) these jeans run very small. I'm 5'4" 132 lb and usually fit in Size 27 in jeans but in White Wash I couldn't fit in 27 or 28! I fit in Size 29 and I'm keeping them. Also I got Petite and they end just right in length -- I would probably need to hem if I'd ordered the Regular version. They're cream colored, not white.
These are cotton and don't stretch. The tag calls put this feature, and the description is wrong. They fit beautifully at first, but loosen ip quickly. The knees and hips stretch out, then shrink a ton when you wash them. Wish I had sized down due to the stretching out and no shrinking back. But thi...s is how jeans were in the 90s

HEADS UP - If you never receive an item from gap, i.e. it was lost in the mail, you have 30 days to report it. IF NOT, you are ineligible for a refund and out the money and out the item. I learned that the hard way on these jeans.

These are very good looking on. Perfect fitting for the long leg long torso tribe. The fabric is quality and has limited stretch which will last longer and relax on the body without turning to shapeless blue bags. The high waist is comfortable sitting down and resists rolling.

The jeans are a great length and fit. My only issue is that they are not white. They are actually cream colored and not the white I was expecting. I bought them for an all white event and ended up buying something else.
