I'm 5 foot 3.5 inches and the petite is perfect. I'm size 30, 160 pounds and perfect fit. The pant loosens up just a tiny bit in the stomach after wearing for 4 hours. Still holds me in good, I love the wide legs, I feel confident wearing these out. The black color is faded not as solid black as the... picture, looks like lived in black jeans. The pants go with all kids of shoes, boots, flats. For me in petite it's just a tad short when I wear platform sneakers than what I like the pants to fall. So I'll have to skip the platform sneakers with these pants, I would have liked them half an inch longer than perfect for platform sneakers.
I bought these in a size 30 short--there's no way these were a size 30. The waist was way too small, and the legs were pooling at my feet. I hope Gap makes the sizing more consistent across their curvy denim line because the jeans are either to large or small in the waist. For reference, I am 5'4'' ...with a 28 in. inseam, and my waist and hips measure at 32 in and 44 in.

This is the first pair of jeans that actually fit me so well, that I've had in years, and that look trendy & flattering (I ordered black). I am 5'4 120 ish lbs., pear shape with short legs, long skinny torso, heavier in the booty and thighs, slim in the waist.

These are so comfy! I pretty much never find jeans online that fits well on the first try, but these were a win. Because of the curvy fit, the waist doesn't gap and has a nice line from hip to wide leg. I'm tall so I got the long (not tall) length, and the high rise is a tad higher than I prefer in the back but not a big deal. I'm typically a size 4-6 and the 6 fits very comfortably with a relaxed fit.

Unfortunately, these will be going back. The legs were ridiculously wide and did not flatter my figure. I am 5'5" and 118 lbs, ordered size 27. On the plus side, the upper part of the jeans were super comfy. The search for wide leg jeans continues.

Perfect style jean to dress up with a boot for a night out. This high waist sit well above your midsection, and fit it nice through the leg. I had to return because the long for height was too long. So, if you're on the taller side, but not 5'10 the regular length should work
