Bought the navy windowpane pajama pants in size S and M to try for sizing, for both myself and my boyfriend. Size S is a better fit for me (F /5'4" /138 lbs) and my boyfriend who's similar in pants size to me (5'8"). The only complaint is that it's long for us both but since it's PJs, it's fine. It'...s a classy print and very comfortable. The material is on the thinner side (so if you're looking for a thicker fleece-y pant, this is not it!). Overall, I'd recommend it for men and women :-)
These are not the smooth poplin pajama pants Gap sold last year that were some of the best I've ever had. This years model is like a cheap Oxford material. The first night wearing one of the shirts to bed I reached over to grab my glass of water off the nightstand and the button area ripped a giant ...hole. The button didn't just rip off, there was a quarter sized gaping hole where the button once was. The pants (and shirts) are rougher than poplin, tight, unforgiving and just have an odd cut to them. The pants want to sag in the back and when pulled up they overcompensate in the front becoming too tight across the face. I tried three different colors, all the exact same. I figured it was a matter of time before I bend down to pick up my daughter or put on a shoe and they would rip just as my pajama shirt of the same material did on the first wear. I'm left longing for last years model, which I can't find anywhere. I required a new size this year so I'm really disappointed Gap didn't bring back their smooth poplin pajamas. They felt cool and comfortable, almost flowy, but not baggy, when worn to bed. I don't want a pj pant that's going to grab at the seat or the crotch, I need something that moves with me when I roll over in the middle of the night. Very disappointed.

if you're looking for a comfortable, well‑made pair of pajama bottoms from a mainstream brand, the Gap Relaxed PJ Pants are a strong choice. They're especially good if: You like a straight‑leg, relaxed fit pajama bottom rather than tapered joggers or slim lounge bottoms. You prefer natural fabric (cotton poplin) or want breathable sleepwear rather than heavy fleece. You value decent quality at a moderate price and easy return options (Gap is widely available). You want something that can double as lounge‑wear and not just sleep‑wear (the straight leg and side welt pockets give a slightly polished look).
