I really like this style, and now have a handful of these pants. I spotted the lavender corduroy pair in a store while making a return back in February. I haven't had much luck with Gap pants over the years, but decided to try them on because I liked the color. I ended up buying them and then ordere...d a few more corduroy pairs and a pair in dark blue denim. I wanted a pair in lighter denim for the summer, but they all had raw hems, which I didn't want. I'm 5'3" with longer legs and a short torso, and sometimes have to buy short length jeans, but I wear this style in a regular size 29/8 and they hit right at the top of my ankle bone. I'm not a fan of where this style falls on the models, and think the petite inseam would make me look shorter. I just took my measurements - at the moment I'm about 130 pounds, 27" waist, 39" hips. I often deal with the dreaded rear waist gap in pants, but it's not too bad with this style. I pretty much lived in the Old Navy "curvy straight" and "curvy bootcut" jeans until they were discontinued last year - their new styles just don't fit the same. I was wearing those in an 8 short. The black pairs I have are now gray, so I'm happy to have found another black denim jean I like. I don't wear leggings or jeggings, so this style is a bit tighter than I'm used to wearing, and the waist a bit higher, but I like them. The waist really kinda sucks everything in, and that's okay.
I'm 5'9" with a 33.5" inseam (31" inseam at the ankle bone), 27" waist and 37.5" hips. I ordered a 27 Long, which should have a 29.5" inseam according to the product description. I, too, fell victim to not noticing the hems on these jeansare unfinished. I should have read the reviews :/ As far as... the waist, these were true to size. I have cuvier legs so these were fitted through the hips and calves, but there's enough stretch in the denim that they don't look or feel too tight. The issue is the length. The pair I received are marked as 27 Long (what I ordered) but the inseam measures at 28.75". Now three-quarters of an inch doesn't seem that bad, but combined with the shape of my legs, these hike up to almost 3 inches above my ankle (and even more when sitting) and they just look silly. Considering the hems are unfinished and will fray in the wash (shortening them even more), I cannot come up with any reason to keep these jeans. Disappointing, because I otherwise liked the fit, though I don't know if I'm going to try going through the trouble of exchanging for a size tall.

I ordered poorly: these are stretchy. I've had poor results with previous use of Gap's stretchy jeans, such as these. Over time, the elastic (or other stretch component) breaks down, thereby visually ruining the fabric, eventing the cotton is still in tact. It's a horrible outcome. Jeans that only last a year, even without being put in the dryer, are not a sustainable choice. They should last several years as made and still be usable as scrap fabric after they develop holes!

I'm 5 foot two 125 pounds I read all the reviews in size up. I'm regularly a 27 or 28 in jeans. I purchased the 29 in Gap. I wished I had gotten 28 but I washed them and dried them and they appear to have shrunk a little bit. I will know more when I try them on. Other than that, I love them.

I'm 5'0" tall and usually get my jeans hemmed but since these are cropped, I ordered the regular length and they were perfect for me

Look like 100% cotton old style vintage but with a little secret stretch! Fit small in general, would need one size up for waist. Took away 1 star because a curvy fit would be helpful. I had go up two sizes to fit comfortably through the hips and then take it in at the waist.

The denim is soft and stretchy, so I'm not sure they will hold their shape and size. I still have the tags on- I don't know if I'll keep them.

Usually a size 25, sometimes 26. I might have needed a 27, as these are really tight in the 25. I got the black pair and sometimes I notice that different washes fit differently. The length was ok for me at 5'4, more of a full length than ankle. Returning due to the fit being small, and the stretch is very stiff.

These jeans fit beautifully. It is a really good alternative to skinny jeans too. The extra leg room makes them comfortable. This is my second pair that I have purchased. I will probably buy another in a different colour!
