This is a great coat! Was unsure at first given some of the reviews mentioning how huge the coat is, but it's intentionally oversized for style, so I had to try it for myself. I usually opt for Petite M but wanted to wait for the coat to go on sale, so I was left with regular sizes. I tried a S firs...t, and while the sleeves were a better length and it fit my upper body well, I couldn't button the coat (I have hips). Returned that and got a M and now it fits my full frame perfectly except the sleeves are super long. I cuffed them, and it actually looks fine because it matches the sherpa lining of the folded collar. Glad I waited for the sale, and glad I got the coat!

beautiful fabrics but enormous
I like a good relaxed/oversized fit, but this coat is gigantic. I'm 5'4", size 6/8 and sized down from my usual Petite Small in coats to Petite XS and it was still about 2 sizes too big. Very big in the shoulders and overall seemed too long, like the buttons were too low. Gave 3 stars b/c the fabric...s are wonderful.
This coat is very good quality and definitely will keep you warm!

Like the other reviews said, this coat runs LARGE! I wish Gap had stocked more of the smaller sizes to prepare for this. But it's very warm and cozy! #sweepstakes
