I buy a lot, too much and usually half of what I buy I am OK with but get rid of sooner than later because it is not all that. Recently I have been back into the Gap on line and now I can't seem to stop. YIKES. The quality is so right on. I am 74yrs old so believe me when I say, I know quality i...n clothes. This robe is absolutely fabulous. And, it was on sale and I took a huge chance because I am a big gal (around 215lbs) and normally I would not buy a robe in size M/L but for some reason I just had to have it and hoped it would sort of fit, well, it fits like it was made for me. The next size up would have been that oversized lots of fabric style robe which is great too, but this is more sleek and sophistacated, almost as if I could wear it out as a long cardigan. I am thrilled. So I write this because I noticed they are down to two different sizes and if anyone out there is thinking they love the robe and price but the M/L probably won't fit them, think again. I am full all over and I swear, it fits like a dream and the fabric is the BEST I have had in a long time. The Gap is really becoming my go to now days, they are delivering big-time.
I purchased several of these a couple of years ago and at that time the fabric was a nice, comfortable weight well worth the cost. Not too heavy, not too thin and super soft. I ordered this same robe again recently and I'm shocked and extremely disappointed. The quality is now very cheap with paper-...thin fabric. Gap lowered the quality significantly but not the price. I will not purchase this again.

Super soft and light, yet has a good weight and drapes beautifully. It is see through, and the sizes are big, I'm normally a medium or size 6/8 and the xs/s was the perfect length in the arms and body. Very lovely to wear over lingerie.

I'm between Small and Medium sizes currently and XS/S fit me great. It's slightly oversized. Perfect mid-calf length for 5'8". Lightweight enough for summer but can easily be layered year round. Was especially happy to find such clean design with no lace, frills and other stuff - thank you for not ruining this beautiful, classic piece. Only wish it came in other colors. #sweepstakes
