Comfortable but a little tight in leg opening.
When I first put them on I was really happy with the fit. It didn't last. They rode up and rolled down as I moved throughout the day and became completely uncomfortable.

Fit is typical, I have several other Gap pairs of underwear in XL and these fit about the same. They don't stay up as well as the regular high waisted type, but look much better when wearing thinner pants/skirts/dresses.
