I would love to see this dress about 6 inches shorter. I like the shape and fit, it just kind of swallows you because it's a lot of heavy fabric and goes down to lower shins. If you are on the shorter side, I would not recommend getting this dress. I sized down as many reviewers recommended and I'm ...very glad that I did. And as others have said it is BRIGHT. Definitely an eye-catcher. I still like the dress and will keep it, I just may have one of my seamstress friends take some length off the bottom so it's shorter...
Pros: POCKETS, quality and colour Cons: MASSIVE I am 5'11 and consistently order Tall L/14 . I feel like I am swimming in this dress. I wear a 38DDD bra and the bust area is loose. The length hits me at an awkward spot... not calf or ankle but somewhere in between. Because of the low sale price I ...paid, I will get it taken in and shortened. I'm not sure if sizing down would help... likely in the bust but the length would remain an issue. I was hoping for a cute sun dress but this is more on the frumpy side. Fingers crossed alterations will make it into something really nice.

The color of great, fabric is nice but they put the ruffle in the wrong spot so the tie waste goes about 2-4 inches above the first ruffle line… I wish the ruffles started right where the tied waste did so there wasn't an awkward break.

I just happened upon this dress in the store in petite. It is so colorful for summer. The fabric is soft and has that pre-washed look. It is a bit larger than most GAP dresses and I did size down (even with the petite). I was so glad to have seen this in person because I would not have looked at it online. I'm so glad there are still GAP stores to go and shop instead of online.

Too big even when I sized down, I'm 5ft 4in this dress was just too much material, it would be more suitable if you are tall but size down I would say.
