    I have the regular high rise straight which fit me perfectly in 28, so I assumed the fit would be the same in these and also ordered 28. It was disappointing when I couldn't get these buttoned even when sucking in. It wasn't the kind of fit you could squeeze into and hope it would loosen up with wear. I sized up to 29 and it's fine but I wish the sizing at Gap was consistent because I don't have a store near me to try them on.

    I really like these jeans. They're true to size. They held up after being washed (didn't put them in the dryer), fit nicely along the legs and butt. They have just the right amount of stretch, but still feel like denim. They do cinch in at the waist a tad, but they are comfortable.
