These fit like all gap clothes, so you can use your usual size. I have long legs and am 5'8" and the leg length ends at the top of the arch of my foot, which is perfect (for flats). I love this style (more comfortable, cute, balances out the hips) I ordered both 27 and 28: 27 is snug and looks good,... 28 is still fitted d/t the stretch in the fabric, but more for casual weekends around the house. The waist is a little loose on me, but most of my jeans are like that, and it looks fine. The only negative is they smelled TERRIBLE: like moth balls, as soon as you pull them out of the bag. After getting the size 27, I ordered the 28 about a week later and SAME THING. Then I ordered a pair for my teenage daughter (we are same size) and they did too! Ugh! They must have been all shipped over together, with mothballs. I hate the idea of having to do special cleaning on a new item before you wear them for the first time, but it is gross. Neither of us can wear them smelling like that. I googled it and will try washing in vinegar. Argh...
*This review is not for the ugly patchwork jeans* (This review is for the ones with the square front pockets that only come in one color( The jeans arrived quickly. They looked just as pictured on the website with the square shaped front pockets and kind of squares back pockets. I fell in love with ...these jeans once I saw them online because of the different pocket style coupled with a nice 70's flared leg opening. The style I fell in love with only came in the color that GAP had listed as New Indigo. I even loved the color they were only available in as well. Upon opening the package, I couldn't help but get even more excited because these jeans were WAY nicer than they appeared online. They had a great feel to the denim. They were soft, yet made thicker and tougher than you'd expect which I was very pleased with. I slipped them on in a hurry. I couldn't wait to see them on me because they were straight flattering right out of the package. Unfortunately, the jeans are 2 sizes too big in the waist, the thighs look like I'm wearing super baggy dude jeans, and my booty disappeared behind the sag that was too hilarious to keep looking at in the mirror. I'd absolutely love to exchange these for the right size, but I'm only being given the option for a refund. I honestly do not want the refund. I want THESE jeans in the correct size. That's all. I ordered the jeans per the sizing guide, and all I can conclude is that my body does not measure correctly with most sizing guides. GAP, please exchange these for the size I need. Regular 31 Short

I love these jeans, so, so much! I love the length and rise. I have them in the dark indigo and medium washes. Please bring out more colors in tall sizes! I'd like to see these jeans back in stock in white or cream, and a light wash, like the light indigo, but without the Western theme. (I'm not a fan of that style!) I'd also love to see these jeans in a boot cut style. Thank you!

Best white jeans ever .bought the tall 30 as it was only size remaining (they were a little big .but threw them in the hot washer and dryer to shrink them to fit perfectly .then hemmed them up a couple of inches! Perfect fit .live the fabric .soft with a little stretch for movement !

I purchased the light denim with the dark triangle bottom hem in a 28short. It fit great and is very cute and flattering and just a midge long. I also got the 27 short in the patched..that one fit okay, but seemed even longer and the pattern wasn't very flattering. 5'3, 130.

the hem is uneven, patched up like 2 different pr of jeans put together so uneven hem. for the price i would think the finish would have been more polished. returned, didn't like the fit.
