Not as soft as before

I've worn (and loved) Gap Body cotton undies for years. While I appreciate that this cotton is organic, it is not nearly as soft as the non-organic cotton underwear of yore. The knit fabric seems thinner as well. Not a complete deal-breaker, but a notable and disappointing drop in quality.

These are not like the old hipsters from several years ago. The cotton is super thin, the leg cut is higher, and the elastic around the legs is low quality so they don't stay in place and ride up. I have been wearing Gap underwear for at least 2 decades and will not buy anymore until they bring back the better quality versions.
