Last year I fell in love with Gap closeknit tops, but sadly my order this year to restock does not compare. Last year, the fabric was doubled, so when you hold it up to light, nothing comes through, you're held in, and you can get away without a bra. This year, the closeknit is thin, plasticky, and shows everything - bra very much needed, and it almost feels like athletic wear. Attached pics to show last years versus this years held up to a window. Really bummed, and crazy to me that they can advertise this as the same thing. I wouldn't hate the shirts I bought if I didn't know how much better they can be.

I usually wear Gap size XS but because this top was described as form fitting, I ordered a S. It was way too small. The top fabric was nice and the pink color was pretty, but I'll donate to a tiny young girl.

gapcanada.ca/I bought many of these t's when I saw them in the fall, long sleeved and short sleeved alike. They are what I call body huggers. If that's your thing, they're for you. They're also soft and easy to maintain. The one downside is they're a little on the cropped side; if that's not your thing, I suggest buying your size in tall.
